Our Winter Bloom Door Wreath is the front-door match for our flower Christmas tree. A 55cm frosted pine wreath with pinecones, dressed with the same soft white and blush faux flowers: full hydrangea heads, palest blush roses, a pink berry spray and silver-green eucalyptus.

Make it yours. Nothing arrives glued in place. The wreath and the stems come separately, so you decide how it looks on your own door. Gather the flowers to one side for a soft, modern look, run them round the whole ring for something fuller, or hold a stem or two back and keep it simple. Cut each stem down, wire or tuck it into the pine, and you are done in about fifteen minutes. If you change your mind, pull it out and start again. Nothing is damaged and nothing is wasted.

One set of flowers, all year. The wreath packs away in January, but the flowers don't have to. The hydrangeas, roses and eucalyptus go straight into a vase for the rest of the winter, come out again for spring, and are ready to dress the wreath, or our tree, next Christmas. You are not buying a wreath for one December. You are buying flowers you will use for years.

Styling tip from Chris & Helen:

Start with the two white hydrangeas at seven o'clock, add the pink one just above, then tuck the roses between them and let the eucalyptus trail down and out. Keep the top of the ring plain so the pine still shows. Hang it slightly above eye level.
