What we collect

Order data: name, email, phone, billing & shipping addresses, order contents.
Account data: if you create an account, the email and password you choose (passwords are hashed; we never see them).
Payment data: processed by Shopify Payments, Klarna, or PayPal — we don't store full card numbers ourselves.
Site analytics: anonymous data about how the Site is used, via Shopify analytics and (if you accept) Google Analytics.
Marketing data: if you sign up to our emails, your email address and any preferences you share.

Why we use it

To process and fulfil your order (legal basis: contract).
To meet our legal duties — e.g. tax and accounting records (legal basis: legal obligation).
To improve the Site (legal basis: legitimate interests).
To send marketing emails, if you've opted in (legal basis: consent — you can withdraw at any time).

Who we share it with

We share data only with the partners we need to run the shop: Shopify (e-commerce platform), our payment providers, our shipping carriers, and our email provider. We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for 7 years (UK tax law). Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe. Account data is kept until you ask us to delete it.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to: access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict processing, or port it elsewhere. Email hello@maisondelicious.com and we'll respond within 30 days. You can also complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
